This beautiful cutting board is made from hand selected black walnut, curly maple and cherry. Made from 100% hardwood edge grain, the rough-cut hardwood lumber is first planed and cut into strips, then the strips turned on their edges. The work surfaces are created from the tighter edge grain, which is more resistant to cuts and friendlier on your knives. Recessed handles gives the user a place to grab the board making it convenient to pick up and move. All sides are rounded over giving it a great look and smooth finish. A beautiful kitchen accent piece yet durable enough for years of regular use in your kitchen. Construction is completed with FDA approved, food safe glue. Finished with food safe mineral oil and natural waxes.
