Wren Birdhouse

These wren birdhouses feature a 1 1/8" opening and 1/4" holes for venting.

The feedback has been great. It’s confirmed that they have become happy homes for many lucky birds locally and in many other states across the country. If you decide to purchase one, I hope you and the birds enjoy it as much as I enjoy making them. 
 
Things to know:
• They are made from all white pine. 
• The birdhouse should be mounted 3-10 feet off the ground with the included exterior screws.
• Wrens prefer a secluded area with plenty of cover. This may be nestled in the branches of a tree or a location that includes nearby bushes to offer protection from the elements or predators.
• Each fall, after the fledglings have left, you should clean out the birdhouse. Simply remove the screw from the bottom of the front and open up the side for easy access.
• It could take a couple of months for the birds to find the house.
• Natural wood is preferred. If painted, use non-toxic paints in earth tone colors (green, brown and tan). Avoid dark colors that attract heat.
